08/25/07 Longview, Texas - "Cruisin' 4 A Cure" will take place on Saturday August 25th to rally the community around a worthy cause- raising funds for the fight against Parkinson's, and Cancer. The Event which will be held on STEVENS STREET in Longview, Texas starting 12:00 p.m. (Vendors 8:00 a.m.), will benefit The Parkinson's Disease Foundation and The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We will be having   Live Music, Swap Meet, Auctions, Gate Prizes and Vending through out the day.

GVH Productions predicts a day and night of fun and entertainment for all ages! Ticket Prices:

$20.00 general admission, 14 and under $10.00, 8 and under FREE. We have put together a great event to benefit two deserving causes. Anyone can come along and enjoy the fun and at the same time know they are making a positive contribution to help Parkinson's and Cancer! Parkinson's and Cancer has effected us all in one way or another. Finding a cure to help the people who surround us.

Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurological disorder that effects nearly one million people in the U.S. Although promising research is being conducted, there is currently no cure for or definitive cause of Parkinson's Disease.

The Komen Foundation has made great progress to fight and eradicate breast cancer as a life- threatening disease. The generosity of the donors for both of these causes is vital as we continue our efforts to help cancer patients as well as Parkinson's victims.
